This course is intended for people seeking to work in the early childhood education and care sector. It provides the skills and knowledge required to design and implement curriculum and care programs, in early childhood education and care services. It will supply all the necessary understanding of how to design these learning frameworks so that upon implementation, they meet the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standards. On completion of this course you will be capable of supervising other staff and volunteers and oversee the social, emotional, physical and educational needs of infants and young children.
This qualification prepares you to work in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector as an educator.
Bachelor of Early Childhood.
Students must be at least 18 years old when they commence studies.
This course includes several work placements. Work placement are part of the study program and a Working with Children Check and a Victorian Police Check are required before starting work placement.
