The Certificate I in Work Education is a course for post compulsory school aged learners with an intellectual disability to develop the skills to explore work options.
Certificate I in Work Education supports learners to improve their employability and work readiness.
Students completing Certificate I in Work Education may pathway into further specific vocational education and training.
This qualification takes 12 months to complete. Classes commence in January and are held 4 days per week.
Each student will undertake a Pre Enrolment Review before enrolling to help confirm the proposed course is suitable. It will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals.
